My name is Barbera Brakel, and under the collective name Manifold Matters, I engage in a diverse range of activities within the realm of online research, (generative) artificial intelligence, and (privacy-enhancing) decentralized technologies. Fascinated by AI as a tool to enhance our cognitive abilities, I explore how it can sharpen problem-solving skills, ignite creativity, and transform knowledge management.
With a background spanning years in both the cultural sector and the intelligence community and law enforcement, I have built up a rich experience in researching with and into new technologies.
